Certificates
We worries about providing quality and satisfaction, and because of that has the compromise of keeping the main certificates and good practices in all company sectors.
All units own RGP (General Fishing Register), which guarantees the register, monitoring, control and inspection of all fish and seafood.
We own the SIF seal (Federal Inspection Service), which guarantees that all our work process is adequated. We follow all demands, for example, structure norms, self-control programs and periodic audits, insuring the product quality in all steps until the deliver.
We follow the ANVISA (National Health Surveillance Agency) standards, IBAMA norms and other organizations that inspect fishing and fish commercialization in Brazil.
We do the BPF (Good Manufacturing Procedures), which are actions adopted to maintain the quality and conformity of many kinds of food.

To guarantee the maximum fish and seafood quality, Itiban Pescados regards to follow norms and many control and inspection procedures as SIF (Federal Inspection Service), BPF (Good Manufacturing Procedures), HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) and RGP (General Fishing Register). And to deliver fresh and healthy products properly, we have a specialized and refrigerated fleet, with the highest technology and implements.
HACCP
We also do the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point), which controls and inspects the probable critical points in the food production, to keep a high surveillance control level.
Sustainability
We are registered at IBAMA’s (Brazilian Environment and Natural Renewable Resources Institute) CTF (Technical Federal Register), which inspects and protects the country environment. We respect the closed fishing periods and we do not support the illegal fishing, being them endangered species or not.
